WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the endtoend execution of engineering and construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background. In managing project scope schedule cost and quality within oil & gas or infrastructure environments. You will collaborate with engineering procurement HSE quality and construction teams to ensure the safe efficient and timely delivery of projects aligned with client expectations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management of project scope safety quality and schedule performance.
- Monitor and manage work schedules project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Oversee project cost risks and ensure delivery within budget.
- Maintain regular communication with clients ensuring satisfaction across all phases of the project.
- Lead project meetings and represent the company with the client and PMT (Project Management Team).
- Coordinate engineering procurement construction HSE and quality functions to meet project milestones.
- Ensure materials vendors and subcontractors are aligned for timely execution.
- Review and manage contracts and subcontracts identifying variations change orders and commercial opportunities.
- Hold profit and loss responsibility managing budgets forecasts and expenditure approvals.
- Support recruitment training and competence development of project team members.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE policies and regulations across all project activities.
- Document and maintain project records in line with contract obligations.
- Conduct postproject reviews and develop lessons learned registers.
- Provide support to Business Unit Managers and Business Development for ongoing tenders and projects opportunities.
Requirements
- First degree in Engineering or a related field.
- International OSHACT diploma in Health & Safety is a plus
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience including leadership in engineering or construction projects.
- Strong project management scheduling and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of fabrication construction contract and subcontract management.
- Proficiency in quality assurance/control and HSE management.
- Experience in managing multifunctional project teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills
