The annual salary range for this role is $90$100k and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
Located just miles outside of Silicon Valley and San Jose the completely renovated Embassy Suites by HiltonMilpitas Silicon Valley is searching for a creativeExecutiveChef to lead their culinary team. Boasting 2 culinary selections as well as 19000 square feet of event space the property has 267 guest suites an indoor pool and stunning views of the Milpitas foothills.

What will I be doing
As Executive Chef you would be responsible for directing and administering the planning preparation production and control of all culinary operations in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Direct and oversee all culinary operations to include but not limited to production of all hotel meals food quality and presentation compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations team member productivity and performance implementation of policies and procedures cost controls and overall profitability.
- Be creativeand implement new menus and individual menu items for our specialty restaurant TASTE based on current food trends and regional tastes in partnership with Director of Food and Beverage while maintaining brand standards.
- Will oversee the complimentary breakfast program and maintain brand standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal state local and company health safety sanitation and alcohol awareness standards as well as the companies Quality Assurance (QA) inspection and Ecosure Program.
- Maintain daily kitchen logs.
- Responsible for purchasing and receiving supplies for daily usage as well as special events/banquets.
- Perform general management duties including but not limited to systems management budget and forecasting end of month report generation department management and meeting participation and facilitation.
- Monitor and develop line restaurant and banquet cooks performance to include but not limited to providing supervision and professional development scheduling conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and rewards.
