Job Description

Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Helpdesk Representative to join our Techline Customer Support Center (TCSC) team within the Automotive IT Industry. This role provides technical support for computerrelated issues vehicle programming assistance and IT troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support problemsolving and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to users via phone and other communication channels.

  • Log and track customer inquiries using a problem management database maintaining detailed records and documentation.

  • Identify evaluate and prioritize customer issues to ensure prompt resolution.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues escalating complex problems as needed.

  • Assist in vehicle programming support and IT system troubleshooting.

  • Follow established escalation processes and develop followup steps for unresolved issues.

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely and professional communication.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Citizenship/Residency: Open to U.S. citizens and Green Card holders only.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED. Must provide diploma.

  • Experience:

    • 2 years of IT technical support experience.

    • Strong understanding of computer hardware networking and software troubleshooting.

    • Ability to diagnose and repair PC hardware and network components.

    • Proven problemsolving skills and ability to work in a team environment.

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    • Strong commitment to attendance and reliability.

  • Work Schedule:

    • Ability to work first and second shifts including occasional Saturdays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN IT infrastructure.

  • Experience in IT or automotive systems.

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A.

  • Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.

Work Environment

  • This role requires up to 90% onsite presence at: 2851 High Meadow Auburn Hills MI 48326.
