STV is seeking an Assistant Accountant for the Construction Management Group in New Albany OH.
An Assistant Accountant supports the accounting team by handling bookkeeping financial transactions and administrative tasks. Their responsibilities typically include:
Maintaining financial records and ledgers.
Processing invoices payments and payroll.
Assisting in budget preparation and financial reporting.
Reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies.
Supporting audits and tax filings.
Coordinating with vendors and clients on financial matters.
Requirements for an Assistant Accountant role:
Education: A degree or diploma in accounting finance or a related field.
Experience: Some roles may require prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Skills:
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Excel).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and timemanagement skills.
