The Cat Technology organization is seeking an Accountant in Mossville IL or Irving TX location. This highly motivated individual contributor will provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis as directed by management.
What You Will Do:
- Creating and utilizing automated tools for the updating analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results
- Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.
- Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
- Provide monthly quarterly and annual financial analysis
- Upon request take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.
What Skills and Experience You Will Need:
- Education:Bachelors Degree in accounting finance or business related degree.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives projects groups or activities making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
- Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods processes and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
- Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
- Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes methods and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Strong communication skills intellectual curiosity and interpersonal skills
- Initiative good judgement and accountability
- Ability to resolve issues independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel Power Query and Power Automate

- Location: Mossville IL or Irving TX
- This role is full-time and currently requires 5 days a week in office
- Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify

Summary Pay Range:
$110520.00 - $165840.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
