Job Summary

The Luxury Wedding Specialist is responsible for curating and executing extraordinary highend wedding experiences for discerning clients. This role encompasses client relationship management local outreach participation in activation events and strategic marketing initiatives. By working closely with top wedding hotels within the Marriott portfolio the role involves developing marketing tools promotions and signature experiences to position Marriott as the premier choice for weddings across all segments.

Collaboration with various hotel departments vendors and industry professionals is key to delivering bespoke unforgettable celebrations that align with brand standards while ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for wedding inquiries offering expert consultation and tailored solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with highnetworth individuals (HNIs) elite wedding planners and luxury vendors.
  • Conduct personalized site visits showcasing the venues unique offerings.
  • Develop and present customized wedding proposals brochures and packages aligned with the couples vision and budget.
  • Negotiate contracts while upholding brand standards revenue goals and exclusivity in service offerings.
  • Analyze competitor strengths and weaknesses to strategically differentiate Marriott in the wedding market.

Luxury Service & Brand Standards

  • Deliver an ultraluxury whiteglove hospitality experience.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends including destination weddings cultural preferences and exclusive vendor partnerships.
  • Ensure brand consistency by implementing signature experiences bespoke services and innovative wedding concepts.
  • Anticipate client needs and provide customized hightouch solutions that enhance their experience.

Financial & Administrative

  • Track and report wedding sales performance and revenue generation.
  • Be aware of compliances with local regulations licensing and hotel safety policies.
  • Promote ancillary hotel services (e.g. Spa Golf Restaurants) to wedding guests and planners to maximize revenue.

Collaboration & Networking

  • Build strategic partnerships with wedding planners luxury event designers and lifestyle influencers.
  • Collaborate with onproperty sales teams to ensure synergy in sales efforts and avoid duplication.
  • Represent Marriott at bridal shows luxury networking events and industry conferences.
  • Strengthen relationships with repeat clients to foster brand loyalty and referrals.
  • Plan and execute FAM trips and exclusive client engagement events.
  • Attend premier events and networking opportunities to engage with HNI clientele.
  • Collaborate with hotels and marketing to work on creating a wedding showcase video.
  • Develop and maintain a PAN India panel of top wedding planners and vendors.
  • Establish groupwide luxury wedding standards including service flow scripts wow experiences best practices and sales pitches to enhance the brands positioning in the luxury market.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in hospitality Event Management or a related field preferred.
  • 15 years of experience in the hotel industry luxury event planning catering sales or wedding planning.
  • Multilingual proficiency is a plus; fluency in English (mandatory) and Hindi required.
  • Strong understanding of luxury service expectations and highnetworth clientele needs.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple highprofile events simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Indepth knowledge of wedding traditions cultural customs and luxury event trends.
  • Experience with event management software CRM systems and data analytics for sales tracking.
  • Food & Beverage operations and menu planning experience is an added advantage.

Event Planning & Coordination

  • If required be able to oversee the entire planning process from contract signing to postevent followup.
  • Work closely with couples families and planners to design personalized wedding experiences.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (NSO buddies culinary banquet housekeeping spa) and external vendors (florists decorators photographers) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ensure cultural and religious preferences are honored with precision and attention to detail.
