Job Skills / Requirements
Cleaning:
Sweeping mopping vacuuming and dusting floors cleaning surfaces and sanitizing restrooms and other common areas.
Trash and Recycling:
Emptying trash cans and recycling bins disposing of waste properly and ensuring the cleanliness of waste disposal areas.
Supplies:
Restocking restroom supplies (toilet paper soap paper towels) stocking cleaning supplies and ensuring the proper storage of materials.
Maintenance:
Performing minor maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs unclogging toilets and reporting any significant maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
Safety:
Following health and safety procedures using cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly and ensuring the building remains secure (e.g. locking doors).
Organization:
Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of janitorial closets and storage areas.
