The Engineering Team is looking for a Proposal Engineer in Monza site (Regular contract)
Management Level: Individual Contributor
Reporting to Proposal Team Leader

What about the job
Manage medium/high complexity Quotations for the realization of Fuel Conditioning and Centrifugal High Speed Separators skids (mainly in the Marine business but also for Oil&Gas and Industrial Plants).
Have complete end responsibility over assigned quotations including:
Handling and coordination of cost calculation for modules and systems based on Alfa Laval standard concepts and customer requests.
Analize customer specifications and find proper deviations from customer requirements.
Prepare quotation documentation and evaluate quotation texts.
Support in the development of the quotation risk assessment submitting the detailed cost calculation.
Secure close cooperation between Sales Company Sales Unit and E&S in the selection of technical solutions and cost levels.
Ensure competitive costing in close cooperation with Purchasing Department.
Improve and optimize standard solutions to enhance our competitiveness.
Maintain the cost database for the actual application.
Support to PM during project execution.
What you know
Mechanical engineering degree or similar.
At least 5 years experience as Proposal Engineer in Process industry (pumps heat exchangers valves filters etc) with multidisciplinary competences (Process Mechanical Instrumentation Automation).
Fluent spoken and written English
