Job Description

The Role

We are looking for an experienced product marketer to develop lead and execute the GTM strategy across Morningstar DBRS credit rating products and services for our EMEA market. In this role you will deliver datadriven market and audience insights clear product positioning and messaging and execute effective demand generation campaigns identifying areas of growth to target in key markets. This role will start with one direct report and offers a great opportunity to expand as a leader in a growing region while making a meaningful impact on one of Morningstars largest and fastestgrowing business units.

The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee all product marketing activities in the EMEA region and will serve as subject matter expert to the other regional product marketing leads while leading regional pipeline growth. This role requires significant crosscollaboration and will partner closely with Business Development Brand and Event Marketing and other internal teams to push initiatives forward.

To be successful in this role youll have experience developing campaigns and GTM strategies within the financial services sector or a related industry and are capable of translating strategies into ROIdriven demand generation campaigns that materially impact the bottom line. You will also have exceptional communication skills in both internal and external messaging and a track record of effective crossfunctional collaboration.

This role reports to the Global Senior Product Marketing Manager in New York and can be based in Frankfurt Madrid or follow a hybrid policy in which you will work onsite at least 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Craft the gotomarket strategy for the credit ratings products and services to deliver business growth in EMEA
  • Oversee and coordinate the credit ratings marketing calendar of programs campaigns and events in the region to ensure operational alignment and efficiencies
  • Develop continous competitive landscape analysis and main competitive intelligence for the credit rating business and provide actionable insights to the crossfunctional teams
  • Build datadriven integrated demand generation programs and campaigns and execute and optimize them to meet pipeline goals for new and existing business
  • Develop and implement a content marketing strategy that leverages our thought leadership content to meet demand generation objectives
  • Deliver inhouse events such as roadshows webinars happy hours etc. as part of the integrated demand generation campaigns partnering with Central Events Marketing to plan and execute the events
  • Own the preevent promotion and postevent follow up campaigns event lead capture strategy and event collateral development for all external and inhouse events
  • Develop client testimonials case studies and other content to support marketing programs and enrich sales and marketing materials
  • Write compelling copy for campaign and sales enablement assets (emails ads landing pages onepagers etc.) that resonates with the target audience and drives action
  • Measure analyze and report on the success of product marketing programs to stakeholders and identify opportunities to continuously improve our outcomes relative to our goals
  • Perform other duties as necessary from time to time to achieve business goals

Requirements

  • A bachelors degree in marketing communications or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of successful product marketing experience within the financial services industry knowledge of credit rating products is highly desirable
  • Track record of developing campaign strategiesand creatively translating into compelling demand generation programs and campaigns
  • A demonstrated history as a proactive leader capable of owning major initiatives delegating work and ensuring timely delivery
  • Strong digital marketing experience with expertise knowledge of email marketing best practices and handson experience using marketing automation platforms such as Pardot
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience crafting positioning statements product messaging and compelling marketing copy
  • Datadriven approach to solving marketing challenges and strong analytical skills to translate both qualitative and quantitative data into opportunities for action
  • High attention to detail ensuring impeccable execution across all regional campaigns
  • Efficiently manage stakeholders and project timelines juggling multiple projects simultaneously and delegating workloads to deliver highquality work within deadline
  • Ability to travel as required
