Job Description

Auren Personas through our Selection & Executive Search Division provides specialized Human Resources consulting services. We are currently supporting Omron Industrial Automation Europe in the search for an HR Manager Iberia.

Omron Industrial Automation Europe is part of Omron Corporation a global leader in industrial automation and components employing over 37500 people across 40 countries. The company provides intelligent solutions expert knowledge and service to customers throughout the EMEA region. It operates across several key industries including but not limited to packaging pharmaceuticals food & beverage machine tools semiconductors and electronics.

Role Summary

As HR Manager Iberia you will be responsible for aligning and implementing HR strategy in Spain and Portugal acting as a strategic partner to the business while ensuring operational excellence. This role involves both strategic and handson responsibilities across the full HR spectrum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align local HR strategy with OEE (Omron Europe) business strategy and ensure effective implementation in Spain and Portugal.
  • Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to managers providing support on all HR matters.
  • Lead recruitment processes and actively support hiring managers throughout.
  • Drive employee engagement and support retention initiatives.
  • Ensure local compensation and benefits are aligned with HQ guidelines and market practices.
  • Support and coach line managers in the areas of performance management goal setting talent development and succession planning using the HR Information System.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with an external provider ensuring compliance with local legal frameworks.
  • Ensure full legal compliance in all HR and labor matters in both countries.
  • Promote and implement best HR practices across the region.
  • Coordinate and manage employee training and development programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar HR role preferably in an international environment.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in HR Business Administration or a related field.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) essential.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is valued.
  • Previous experience in the engineering or industrial sector is a plus.
