Role Mission
We are seeking a highly experienced Pump Engineering Consultant to join the Rotating Equipment Division. In this critical role you will lead the development standardisation and application of pump and seal technologies across Aramcos operations ensuring worldclass performance and reliability in key capital projects and operational assets.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct technical evaluations of existing pumping systems and recommend improvements.
Provide expert support for capital projects involving pumps and seals from concept to detailed engineering.
Utilise hydraulic simulation and piping system modelling to optimise design and performance.
Participate in technical investigations of major incidents or failures related to pumping systems.
Introduce and assess emerging technologies to improve equipment reliability availability and efficiency.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Ensure compliance with and enhancement of corporate standards related to pumps and mechanical seals (e.g. API 610 ISO).
Support advanced troubleshooting and develop innovative technical solutions
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred).
Experience: 20 years in rotating equipment within the Oil & Gas industry with a strong emphasis on pump systems.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps mechanical seals hydraulic analysis and international standards (API ISO).
Certifications (Preferred): Vibration Analyst CMRP or equivalent.
Languages: Fluent in technical English.
Mobility: Willing to travel internationally and work in a multicultural environment.
