The Role and What Youll Do:
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Sr. Cluster Technology Manager for the city venue clusters in Milan Verona Italy with extensive experience in managing technology for largescale events. The onsite technology management team will play a crucial role in the successful execution of the Official Hospitality Program for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games in MilanoCortina Italy. This role will be responsible for managing supervising and coordinating all activities of the Onsite Technology Functional Area. This includes managing personnel to design configure and implement hardware and software systems in addition to the deployment and collection of computer hardware/software operating systems. This position reports to the Director of Onsite Technology Management
- Recruit and manage multiple Venue Technology Managers across a cluster of venues.
- Work with the Venue Technology Managers in the overall planning design delivery implementation testing operation decommissioning and reinstatement of all technology services and solutions required at their assigned competition or noncompetition venue(s).
- Contribute to the detailed venue project planning process for your venue(s) ensuring that the technical and operational spaces power network and equipment required by Technology are incorporated into the planning and execution of the technology needs for our Hospitality Production Teams.
- Develop the overall strategy for venue operations technology (access control production audio/visual and network infrastructure) to deliver an amazing experience for our guests.
- Develop effective working relationships with incumbent venue teams and functional areas general managers technology managers and other key venue stakeholders at the organizing committee and On Location.
- Collaborate with Technology partners & suppliers other functional areas and incumbent venue teams to maintain a detailed installation schedule for their assigned venue(s) identifying priorities and ensuring that they are understood by all stakeholders.
- Participate in shifts at the Technology Command Center (TCC) during Loadin Loadout and Games time.
- Be the principal owner of all the technology needs for your Venue Cluster before during and after Games time.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of technology at your venues for the duration of the project.
- Provide support to other functional areas within your cluster.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
You have these:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of management experience in onsite/field technology support and project management preferably in the ticket and hospitality industry in relation to major sporting events.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technology concepts to both technical and nontechnical teams.
- Endtoend understanding of how an integrated set of technologies deliver a smooth and efficient venue experience for both guests and staff.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex missioncritical technology programs and managing operations through 3rd party vendors and large organizations.
- Sound understanding of IT and/or telecommunications including WiFi network cabling and troubleshooting.
- Experience of delivering production IT services within a high availability environment for successful delivery of SLA/OLAs.
- Experience of managing thirdparty suppliers in a multivendor environment.
- Proficient in desktop and mobile OS systems such as Windows Mac OS Android iOS and Linux including MS Office 365.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment within a highprofile international project.
- Fluency in verbal and written English is required Italian is preferred.
- Experience working in a technology role in previous medium to large scale events such as World Cups and/or Commonwealth Euros and Olympic Games.

- Experience working in the ticketing travel or hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in Audio/Visual systems configuration and troubleshooting is preferred but not mandatory.
