Job Description
Another is a sharing app for 15 minute selfie videos and swipeable photos offering an authentic glimpse into your week. Updates are shared with specific groups individuals or chats through a mutual-viewing system see friends recaps only if you share yours. Content disappears after a week promoting regular meaningful interactions with customized privacy controls for secure sharing.
Tasks
What Youll Do:
- Take full ownership of our Flutter mobile application from architecture to release
- Work closely with Moritz (CTO) to implement features quickly and efficiently
- Build test and optimize media-heavy user flows (uploading compressing storing photos and videos)
- Integrate with Firebase backend and ensure secure scalable data handling
- Lead performance optimization and help set best practices for mobile app development
- Maintain a high bar for code quality and app responsiveness
Requirements
What Were Looking For:
- 5 years of mobile development experience with 3 years in Flutter
- Deep experience building and scaling social or media-rich apps
- Hands-on experience with media handling compression and video/image optimization
- Proficient with Firebase (Auth Firestore Storage Functions)
- Strong product sense and an ownership mentalityyou treat the app like its your own
- Comfortable working full-time or beyond (50-60 hours/week) in a remote fast-moving environment. This is very important to us.
