Job Description
purpose of this position is to apply basic design engineering principles as listed. This role has the responsibility to promote Biogas Engineering s competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence. This position will require you to Lead on assigned projects and evaluate select and apply standard engineering techniques and you must set routine assignments to the mechanical engineer reporting to you.
Employ costcompetitive engineering techniques to develop the most costeffective total project solution for the execution of the discipline engineering work.
Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements and actively seek discrepancy resolution.
Understanding clients needs identifying and addressing design parameters and problems; developing and implementing solutions.
Independently evaluate organize and prioritize work.
Interface with other Project Specialists and Lead Engineers.
Effort hour estimation on the project and plan the project according to the schedule set by the project management team
Experience with being directly responsible for the procurement of mechanical equipment is an added advantage
Review equipment and material procurement permitting and subcontracting
Adhere to industry codes and standards as well as department practices and procedures
Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity following organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner set priorities and meet deadlines
Training and development of the junior engineers
Other duties as assigned
