Job Description

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a fulltime Clinical Manager Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)to join our team of professionals. This position will supervise and coordinate staff and services related to the Assertive Community Treatment Team. The Clinical Manager will provide crisis intervention and treatment services to outpatient populations to ensure the delivery of excellent client care.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Supervises and coordinates the overall operations of ACT.
  • Oversees the ACT team interdisciplinary team meetings and huddles.
  • Coordinates the necessary staff coverage and appropriate staff training for assigned team. This includes provision of coverage when necessary and appropriate.
  • Provides clinical supervision consultation and backup for participants in the ACT program.
  • Provides oncall clinical backup for line staff outside normal business hours.
  • Assists individuals with attaining their highest level of functioning and maximizing their independence through coaching motivating reminding problem solving assistance with accessing needed services etc.
  • Adheres to all professional ethical codes and HIPAA regulations.
  • Assists with the process of screening interviewing and recommending applicants for hire.
  • Conducts treatment services according to Southwestern policies.
  • Serve as an active contributing member of the CSS management team and clinical treatment team.
  • Ensures compliance with all Southwestern policies and procedures including clinical documentation requirements.
  • Engages in collaborative interactions with other relevant community agencies as well as other departments within this agency.
  • Commits to annual professional and skills development opportunities.
  • Advocates on behalf of individuals with serious and persistent mental illness.
  • Develops and sustains relationships with other providers in the community to provide for a full continuum of care (SOF ECHO SWIRCA).

Job Qualifications

WHATS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

  • Bachelors degree in Social Work Psychology Sociology or Human Services and prior supervisory experience. Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in working with longterm psychiatric patients.
  • Must have demonstrated excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
  • Must obtain and maintain Welle Training.
  • Must obtain and maintain ANSA certification.
  • Must have valid drivers license auto insurance that meets the IN State minimum coverage requirement and qualify for Companys vehicle liability insurance.
