The role
As a Staff Product Manager for Core Banking you will play a pivotal role in defining the foundation of Galileos banking capabilities helping shape the next generation of our platform. This is a highimpact strategic role that demands a strong product mindset technical acumen and the ability to influence crossfunctional stakeholders. You will be responsible for evolving our core banking modulessuch as Lending Deposits Checking and Regionalizationinto configurable scalable and compliant services that meet the needs of our diverse client base.
To be successful youll need to bridge the technical and business worlds engaging with matrixed teams including design engineering sales operations finance legal risk compliance customers and other product managers. Youll define and prioritize features and drive internal stakeholder and external client and partner engagements necessary for the ontime launch and adoption of each product on the platform.
The ideal candidate will be a digitalfirst professional with a passion for financial services and a proven track record of blending business insight and technical knowledge to deliver a bestinclass customercentric digital experience for our clients.
What youll do:
- Core Modules: Lending Deposits Checking Regionalization.
- Be the voice of the customer understand bank environments and technology needs.
- Prioritize and drive product backlogs with your dedicated and dependent engineering teams.
- Understand complex business and operational requirements and break them down into epics and user stories for engineering teams.
- Continuously monitor for avenues of improvement respond to production concerns and provide innovative solutions that conform to high security standards while maintaining a delightful user experience.
- Lead in a fastpaced agile multicountry dynamic environment.
What youll need:
- Bachelors degree or higher in a technical discipline with 8 years in core banking product management or adjacent systems.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Deep understanding of SaaS product development principles with a focus on regulated financial SaaS products.
- Strong data analysis skills along with experimentation methodologies to test iterate learn and innovate.
- Experience with a 3rd generation banking platform and experience with building scalable and configurable solutions with be a plus.
USBased Base Compensation
$144000 $247500 USD
