Our client is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead and refine program strategies for the vCHAMPS modernization initiative. This role requires expertise in Agile Scrum or SAFe practices executive-level communication vendor and risk management and complex stakeholder coordination. The Program Manager will play a key role in overseeing delivery improving operational processes driving data-based decisions and ensuring successful coordination of both internal teams and external vendors.
1. Transition Coordination
Facilitate a smooth transition between outgoing and incoming EPMO teams
Document and transfer critical project knowledge processes and open tasks
2. Project Planning and Tracking
Maintain and update project plans schedules and deliverables
Monitor progress manage risks and proactively address delays
3. Team Alignment and Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for project teams
Clarify and communicate roles and expectations following team reorganization
4. Stakeholder Management
Deliver timely reports and updates to sponsors and stakeholders
Respond to stakeholder concerns and ensure their needs are addressed
5. Risk and Issue Management
Identify and track program risks and issues
Develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact
6. Process Improvement and Documentation
Refine and enforce project and program management standards aligned with the new EPMO structure
Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation is maintained
7. Quality Assurance
Monitor deliverables to ensure alignment with quality and compliance standards
Collaborate with teams to resolve issues as needed
8. Support for Decision-Making
Analyze and synthesize project data to support executive decision-making
Prepare and deliver materials for governance reviews meetings and escalations
