Job Type: FullTime
PuroClean of Marysville is hiring a dependable and detailoriented Mold Remediation Technician to join our restoration team. The ideal candidate has handson experience in mold remediation procedures and safety protocols with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively under pressure. IICRC certification in Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT) or equivalent is preferred but not required to apply.
- Perform mold inspections containment setup and remediation following industry standards
- Remove affected building materials and clean/sanitize exposed surfaces
- Operate and monitor equipment such as air scrubbers negative air machines and dehumidifiers
- Maintain proper documentation including photos logs and remediation notes
- Follow safety guidelines including PPE usage HEPA vacuuming and controlled demolition practices
- Communicate with clients professionally and respectfully onsite
- Collaborate with team members and report progress to project leads or supervisors
- 1 year of handson experience in mold remediation or related restoration work
- Strong understanding of containment setup moisture control and proper disposal procedures
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined highhumidity or dusty environments
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening
- Must provide black protective toe work boots and black or darkcolored work pants
- Strong attention to detail punctuality and safety awareness
- IICRC AMRT certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Additional certifications such as WRT or OSHA 10/30
- Familiarity with moisture meters hygrometers and restoration software (e.g. DASH)
