Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems HVAC units refrigeration equipment and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose issues using schematics technical manuals and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Repair or replace appliances HVAC components refrigeration units and mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail.
- Install new appliances HVAC systems and mechanical equipment following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs performed parts used and inspections completed for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues involving electrical wiring plumbing or construction-related tasks; lead small teams when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair HVAC/R systems refrigeration and mechanical systems repair.
- Ability to read schematics technical manuals and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance installation kitchen equipment maintenance air conditioning systems and equipment repair.
- Familiarity with HVAC & appliance technology along with experience in maintenance repair & operations (MRO).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus; leadership qualities are valued for team collaboration.
- Valid drivers license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment or parts; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces if required.
