Design document implement and continuously improve Human Resources processes relevant policies and guidelines.
Define and execute business strategies.
Align implement and manage the BBBEE scorecard.
Optimize business practices by compiling analyzing and presenting performance metrics and benchmarking against industry standards.
Ensure continuous improvement practices align with business strategy the operating model and compliance requirements.
Lead communication and adoption of business practice and technical competencies.
Serve as a strategic HR Business Partner.
Ensure full statutory legislative compliance with BCEA EEA LRA OSHA NBCRFLI.
Develop manage and report on the Human Resources budget.
Identify and implement costreduction initiatives.
Oversee payroll compensation health and welfare benefit administration.
Ensure recruitment practices are compliant with policies and approved budgets.
Manage the temporary Employment Services budget.
Develop and implement HR strategies related to talent acquisition selection retention and succession planning.
Oversee performance management through internal systems and frameworks.
Manage employee relations and ensure legal compliance.
Lead skills development planning and statutory reporting.
Provide professional operational HR support and advice to management and staff.
Champion organizational change and manage change initiatives.
Ensure effective communication and project management for staff engagement and HR initiatives
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree (minimum requirement)
Experience: 58 years at a senior management level in HR
Intermediate MS Excel and Word proficiency
Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills
Strong business writing skills in English
Proven project management and deadline delivery capabilities
Excellent executivelevel verbal communication
Teamoriented and collaborative work style
Ability to work extended hours as needed
35 years experience in a unionized environment required
Must be a South African citizen with a clear criminal record
Advantageous: Working knowledge of the logistics or courier industry
