SUMMARY:
The Director of Fine Arts Media and Marketing is a multifaceted leadership role that combines creative vision with strategic marketing. This individual oversees the districts fine arts programs Public Relations department and drives the marketing goals of the district. They work with our public relations team to ensure a cohesive brand image and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Direct and manage the overall program of fine arts (i.e. visual art band choir theatre arts and dance) for the district. Provide students with opportunities to participate in extracurricular fine arts activities and ensure compliance with all state University Interscholastic League (UIL) and district requirements. Plan activities to achieve district region and state recognition.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in fine arts media marketing or a related field
Masters Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Five years experience in leadership in related fields
At least three years of campus administrative experience preferred
CERTIFICATES LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate preferred
Texas Principal Certification preferred

Maintain confidentiality.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises and evaluates assigned personnel via TTESS.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Occasional absences are understood but regular attendance is required.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit occasionally walk and stand talk or hear and travel from one building to another or to other sites. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Light to moderate lifting is required.
Some driving is required as the employee is required to travel from building to building or to other sites. This position requires meeting deadlines with severe constraints interacting with the public and staff and enduring irregular or extended work hours.
The employee must maintain emotional control under stress.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is quiet to loud and varies depending upon the site and the activity being conducted. The employee works both indoors and outdoors and is exposed to sun heat cold and inclement weather.
