Job Description
J.H. Fletcher & Co. a worldwide leader in the manufacture of heavy mobile machinery has an opening for an IT Support Technician Intern at our Huntington WV facility. This internship provides handson experience in a dynamic IT environment and is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a career in information technology. The intern will assist with providing technical support maintaining IT systems and supporting various IT projects across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
Basic understanding of computer hardware software and networking concepts
Ability to work as part of a team
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to endusers including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Assist with installation configuration and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals
Help maintain IT documentation and inventory records
Respond to support tickets and ensure timely resolution of issues
Maintain availability during morning shift
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Position Details:
Location: 402 High Street Huntington WV 25705
Shift: Internship 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Exempt Status: NonExempt
