We are looking for an energetic engaging Training Instructor who thrives on developing others. If you love empowering people through handson learning and clear instruction we want to hear from you.

In this position you will be reporting to Training Sergeant. You will be responsible for the delivery of mandatory training including Peace Officer Recruit Training Inservice training firearms and control tactics. You will be preparing for each training session delivering/codelivering classroom training providing feedback and evaluation on the performance of the recruits and collaborating with curriculum developers on changes and improvements to the curriculum and course materials.

This position averages 40 hours per week.

Hours of work: 7:45AM 4:45PM Monday to Friday.

These are three (3) temporary positions for 2 years each located at Alberta Training Academy 1568 Hector Road NW Edmonton.

Occasional evening and weekend hours work is required as well as travel within the province.
