We are Hiring Assistant General Manager!
Join the awardwinning team at River Sands RV Resort recently honored as the 2024 Large Park of the Year by the Arizona Outdoor Hospitality Association (AZARVC) . Nestled along the scenic Colorado River in western Arizona our resort offers guests a blend of adventure and relaxation featuring more than 250 spacious RV sites cabins a variety of recreational facilities and breathtaking views.
Position Summary: The Assistant General Manager supports all aspects of resort operations including guest and associate satisfaction reputation management human resources financial performance sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Assists the general manager with the operational and financial management of the property. Meets assigned departmental budgets and monitors financial statements.
Verifies that all brand standards are being maintained in each area of the property.
Verifies that all associates meet or exceed all brand requirements.
Takes action on guest and resident requests seeking resolution.
Delivers and leads strong customer service and operational practices. Enforces resort rules and standards.
Assists Resort General Manager with administrative duties and tasks.
Works shifts and supports various departments as needed.
Assists with the associate life cycle of recruiting hiring training coach counseling and mentoring. Supervises employees in the assigned department(s).
Assists with delivering profitable results and operating within budgeted guidelines.
Ensures compliance with federal state and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws and resort operations. Maintains current licenses and permits as prescribed by local state and federal agencies.
Participates in the development of short term and long term financial and operational plans for the Resort.
Meets goals for projected revenue levels as well as guest satisfaction.
Ensures security of the resorts assets.
Remains current on business trends and local activities.
Establishes and maintains an appropriate level of community involvement.
Assists in the development of new programs which result in an increased level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Operates company golf cart and/or truck.
Must have flexibility to respond to resort needs during nonbusiness hours.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
