Chapman Ford is on the hunt for an Accounts Payable Clerk to contribute to our dynamic business office team! In this role you will be responsible for the managing the dealerships accounts payable and assisting with monthend closing.

Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain sales tax exempt information.
- Review verify and post accounts payable invoices.
- Document and maintain all 1099 information including processing yearend forms and reports.
- Prepare accounts payable checks and customer refund checks in a timely manner.
- Issue purchase orders to vendors as necessary.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles and procedures.
- Prior experience working in an Accounts Payable role is preferred. Dealership experience is ideal.
- Thorough with meticulous attention to detail to ensure a high level of accuracy.
- Organized with strong time management and effective multitasking abilities without compromising work quality.
- Proficient computer skills including advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.
- You are analytical and datadriven with exceptional followup skills.
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a teamoriented environment.
- Must pass a preemployment background check and drug screening.
Hours and Work Environment:
This is an inoffice role at the dealership located in Scottsdale AZ that offers a Monday Friday day shift schedule.
