Afognak Diversified Services Inc. a wholly owned company of Afognak Native Corporation has parttime opportunity for Armed Security Officer in Wichita KS. The Armed Security Officersecures the facility under established operating procedures and processes.
- Respondsto a variety of calls/incidents
- Secures/safeguards specific scenes
- Performs crowd control as required
- Performs personnel vehicular and building facility checks; as well as First Aid and CPR as required.
- Completes all required reports forms and other established procedures via electronic security application
- Safely maintains and qualifies with assigned weapons maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies
- Operates patrol vehicle in a safe manner conducts flag protocolssafe guards all assets
- Provides motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment as needed
- Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOPs
Payrate:$23.50 to $25.50 hourly
Requirements
- Three (3) years of security experience within the past five (5) years or
- An Associates degree or at least 60semester hours college credit in any field of study or
- Three (3) years military or National Guard experience (active or reserve) or
- Successful completion of Police Officer Standard Training (POST) course or any reasonable combination of above.
- City of Wichita issued security License
- Obtain conceal and Carry permit
- Must befamiliar with various Security systems such as: CCTVs access control emergency notification systems and mobile security applications
- Successfully pass a criminal history background investigation
- Must Speak English fluently; read and comprehend written English.
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent skill using Microsoft applications
- Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications
- Must be able to successfully complete approximately 80 hrs. of company provided training. (Classes are scheduled 7 days a week)
- Must be able to successfully complete a preemployment physical exam and drug screen
- Must be able to successfully complete a preemployment Physical Readiness Test
