The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Drainer to join our site crews across multiple active subdivisions and infrastructure projects. You will take the lead in installing stormwater sewer and drainage systems ensuring works are completed to standard on time and safely. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a physically active outdoor environment and is looking to take ownership of critical site tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lay stormwater sewer and drainage pipes and systems with precision
  • Interpret site plans and ensure compliance with specifications
  • Lead and coordinate offsiders and labourers onsite
  • Conduct trench excavation and preparation
  • Operate plant and machinery (where ticketed)
  • Perform safety checks prestarts and hazard identification
  • Liaise with supervisors and team members to manage daily activities
  • Maintain accurate records of tasks and materials used

What Youll Bring

  • Solid experience in civil drainage pipe laying or similar roles
  • White Card and current Drivers Licence (mandatory)
  • Ability to read and understand site plans
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • High attention to safety and quality
  • Excavator confined space or working at heights tickets (desirable)
