About The Role
As a Plumber/Drainer youll be at the heart of delivering essential water and wastewater services to the Bundaberg community. From ensuring clean drinking water to maintaining critical infrastructure every task you undertake will directly impact the health and wellbeing of our residents.
Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Operating maintaining and constructing Water Services infrastructure including treatment facilities sewerage collection water distribution systems and other Council facilities.
- Operate and maintain equipment plant and machinery as required.
- Acquire and follow all safe environmental and water quality work practices policies procedures instructions and guidelines.
This isnt just plumbing; its critical community service.

About You
- A Queensland Plumbers Licenceor equivalent (or the ability to obtain).
- A Class MR drivers licence (or ability to obtain).
- Construction Induction (White/Blue Card).
- A willingness to complete tickets like confined space working at heights and traffic management implementation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
