Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating manual machining equipment including lathes mills and grinders to produce highprecision parts and components. This position requires attention to detail an understanding of blueprints and technical drawings and the ability to perform quality inspections on finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manual lathes mills and grinders to machine parts based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Set up and adjust machines ensuring proper operation and safety protocols.
- Measure and inspect parts using precision tools such as calipers micrometers and gauges.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning.
- Interpret blueprints technical drawings and work orders to determine machining processes and requirements.
- Maintain a clean organized work environment and adhere to all safety standards.
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure highquality output.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a manual machinist or similar role.
Strong knowledge of machining techniques and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficient in the use of measurement tools such as calipers micrometers and gauges.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional machining certifications a plus.
