Following a period of growth our Kettering based client is seeking a skilled Machinist/Fitter to join their busy machinery production team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a world-renowned organisation known for quality and innovation.
About The Role
- As a Machinist/Fitter you will be required to carry out the following:
- Use of manual and CNC machinery to produce components to drawings
- Assembly/fitting of components to produce machinery and mechanicalassemblies to drawings
- Mechanical calibration of assembled machinery to procedures
- Meticulous documentation of design changes of deviations as well as calibrationdata
- Provision of general production support as required
About You
Essential
- Machining experience both manual and CNC
- Manufacturing experience
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Able to work as part of a team and independently
- Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office products
Desirable
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
