The Analytics function within Scaled Operations serves as a strategic thought partner to leadership enabling datadriven decisionmaking through highimpact insights robust reporting infrastructure and scalable data solutions. The Difference You Will Make:

As Operations Analyst Lead you will lead highpriority analytical initiatives that help shape Airbnbs supplyside strategy and operational performance. Youll work independently to design scalable data products generate critical business insights and solve complex challenges that inform how we support and grow our community of HostsYoull partner with stakeholders across Product Policy Support and Strategy to translate ambiguous business questions into clear datadriven recommendations. Your expertise in operational analytics judgment in tradeoff decisions and ability to deliver structured thoughtful outputs will make you a trusted contributor across multiple domains.

A Typical Day:

• Build dashboards reporting frameworks and data models that drive visibility into performance and guide decisionmaking across supply operations.
• Lead analytical deep dives to uncover insights that influence operational strategy identify risks or size new opportunities.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders to align on key metrics and implement scalable solutions to improve data integrity and reporting workflows.
• Translate business objectives into clear problem statements and propose solutions through rigorous quantitative analysis.
• Communicate insights through presentations memos and visualization tools to influence decisions at various levels of the organization.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide thought partnership across the broader analytics team.
• Proactively identify areas for operational improvement and contribute to experimentation and policy iteration processes.
• Participate in the evolution of Scaled Operations analytics roadmap contributing to the teams longterm planning and technical development.

Your Expertise:

• 10 years of experience in analytics strategy business operations or consulting ideally in a techenabled or operational environment.
• Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics Computer Science Engineering Economics); advanced degree a plus.
• Strong command of SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Looker); working knowledge of Python or R preferred.
• Proven ability to navigate large and complex datasets to deliver clear actionable insights.
  Experience solving business problems using structured thinking and sophisticated analytical approaches.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex topics in a compelling and concise way.
• High degree of autonomy and accountability; comfortable leading projects with minimal guidance.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively across functions.

Your Location:

This position is US Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites as agreed to with your manager.
