JOB SPECIFICATION

Reports to: Head of Sales

Contract: Permanent

Based: Glasgow

Salary: From 40000 (dependant on experience) OTE 60000

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a smart ambitious Business Development Manager with experience in the Construction Security industry to join our Construction Sales team. Ideally you will have experience in a businesstobusiness solution sales environment. You will be an effective communicator with a thirst for success. Ability to make tight deadlines and achieve KPIs. You will be responsible for delivering new sales within the construction sector. You will be responsible for leveraging the Prime Secure value proposition learning and understanding the client s needs and tailoring a solution to suit. You will be a team player building on your own performance and sharing strategies and plans with your colleagues to achieve common goals and KPI s.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are an ambitious and dynamic new business hunter capable of prospecting within a target sector and gaining the opportunity win new contracts
  • You have experience of working in construction security sales (at least 1 year)
  • You will be professional at all times and capable of operating credibly within a construction environment
  • You are skilled at client relationship management
  • You know what excellent looks like in terms of relationship building customer engagement and strategic business development and operate at this level at all times
  • You have experience of dealing with construction and commercial teams.
  • You are data driven with strong analytical skills and a good understanding of reporting/management information experience using a CRM
  • You have customerfacing skills and excel at building lasting relationships
  • You are selfmotivated and driven to succeed by delivering exceptional service to our customers
  • You are consultative in your sales approach and capable of designing a solution that delivers value to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As Business Development Manager within the construction site security services sector you will be accountable for driving new business growing existing business and achieving ambitious sales targets. The role requires a selfsufficient and proactive individual who can manage their time effectively demonstrate strong attention to detail and take ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting through to CRM completion and client onboarding.

As such we see the key responsibilities of the role as being:

  • Achieving personal sales targets for both revenue and equipment related to construction site security
  • Developing maintaining and managing a strong pipeline of opportunities ensuring consistent growth across all service lines
  • Providing accurate and timely sales forecasts aligned with business goals
  • Reporting pipeline data and sales activity with full and accurate CRM completion to support visibility and strategic planning
  • Delivering compelling onsite presentations to clients clearly communicating the value and reliability of our security services
  • Representing the company at industry events such as Meet the Buyers exhibitions to grow brand awareness and generate new leads
  • Utilising social media lead generation platforms and professional networking to increase visibility and business opportunities
  • Demonstrating exceptional attention to detail in all communications proposals and system updates
  • Being selfsufficient in managing your time prioritising tasks effectively to meet KPIs and contribute to team success
  • Using initiative to identify new opportunities develop client relationships and grow sales across all service offerings.
