Job Description

The State of Montana has a decentralized human resources (HR) system. Each agency is responsible for its own recruitment and selection. JOB OVERVIEW This position is responsible for:

  • Managing phone calls for the assigned office; refers complaints and concerns with offenders offenders families criminal justice system members and the general public to the appropriate staff.
  • Creates and/or prepares letters memos forms meeting schedules reports etc. using word processing spreadsheet and database and/or presentation software.
  • Maintains data logs in established software programs and produces statistical information upon request.
  • Coordinates and schedules meetings as requested; makes all necessary travel arrangements for staff as requested.
  • Has daily initial contact with offenders visitors and others who may be hostile or under the influence of substances.
