As Senior Director Certificates Portfolio (Internal Title: General Manager Certificates Portfolio) you will lead the strategic direction management and growth of CFA Institutes new and expanding portfolio of certificate programs a critical and fastgrowing area of impact for the organization.

This role may be based in Charlottesville New York City or London with hybrid working preferred. Remote working arrangements will be considered for exceptional candidates located in the Eastern U.S. time zone.

What Youll Do

  • Set and lead the strategic direction for CFA Institutes new and expanding portfolio of certificate programs ensuring growth profitability and global relevance.

  • Drive crossfunctional collaboration across Product Management Product Marketing and Business Development through influence and matrixed partnerships.

  • Own full P&L accountability for the certificates portfolio ensuring financial and operational targets are achieved.

  • Champion product innovation and a customercentric approach to build offerings that meet the evolving needs of candidates and the investment industry.

  • Develop compelling business cases and strategic plans for internal and external stakeholders including executive leadership.

  • Analyze industry trends financial performance and market insights to inform decisionmaking and optimize portfolio success.

  • Act as a key voice for CFA Institutes growing certification strategy externally helping to build recognition and market presence.

What Were Looking For

  • Proven success managing complex crossfunctional portfolios across global markets in a matrixed environment.

  • Demonstrated experience with full P&L ownership portfolio size is less important than depth of financial accountability.

  • Strong background in educational product development higher education or professional learning providers; experience in financial services or investment management is a plus but not required.

  • Experience operating as a seniorlevel individual contributor leading through crossfunctional influence and collaboration; comfortable working without direct team management with potential for future leadership expansion.

  • Skilled in creating and presenting business cases and strategic recommendations to executive audiences.

  • Exceptional collaboration influencing and relationship management skills.

  • Strategic thinker with outstanding analytical operational and problemsolving capabilities.

Expected salary range: US VA $140180k / US NY $180220k / UK 110140k per year.

All salary ranges are subject to adjustment based on experience education and other factors relevant to the position. Other benefits include eligibility for annual incentives 12% employer 401k/pension contribution and competitive medical benefits.
