Job Description
- Night Duty Part Time position 67 hours per fortnight
- Gosnells location
- Excellent staff benefits
- Salary Packaging (up to $18550) and Leave Loading (17%) per annum payable on annual leave
Rocky Bay is seeking expressions of interest for people who are looking to take the next step in their career at Rocky Bay and join our team at our Gosnells Supported Accommodation. We are looking for someone who wants to work with our customers get to know them and support them to live the life they choose.
Night Duty Support Worker Roster 67 hours per fortnight
Week 1 TueThu/Sun
Week 2 Mon/Fri/Sat Tue/Wed
We are looking for:
- Available for active night duty MondaySunday and able to commit to the entire roster
- Can demonstrate a commitment to an inclusive and personcentered environment
- Previous experience working with people with a range of disabilities
- Can adapt to working in a persons home and contribute to a positive environment
Day in the life of a support worker:
- Support our customers in all aspects of daily life including; maintaining their home facilitating and attending outings and medical appointments personal hygiene and support with daily activities whilst always demonstrating dignity and respect for our customers
- Communicate and engage with the customer in a relevant and meaningful way
- Transport participants travelling to and from activities and outings using Rocky Bay vehicles
- Ensure all supports and services provided are accurately documented and accounted for through timesheets case notes incident reporting etc
