Job Description
Pay:$17.25 per hour
Schedule:FullTime 8hour shifts

Essential Duties:
- Display rotate and sell merchandise to inmates and employees.
- Safeguard and maintain adequate supply of merchandise.
- Maintain merchandise in a saleable condition and monitor the cleanliness and appearance of the facility commissary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures affecting commissary operations.
- Participate in monthly inventory preparation and assist with the submittal of inventory reports to accounting.
- Assist with the verification of the accuracy of shipments received from distribution centers and authorized outside vendors.
- Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed.
- Maintain accountability of inmates and property; adhere to safety practices.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent (GED).
- One (1) year related experience in a commissary or retail sales function preferred.
- A valid drivers license in the state of Ohio with an acceptable driving record required unless waived by management.
- Must successfully complete all annual inservice requirements.
