Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Design & Modelling
- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical components and systems in Autodesk Inventor.
- Create assembly layouts fabrication drawings and bill of materials (BOMs).
- Ensure design accuracy and alignment with engineering specifications and manufacturing processes.
Project Collaboration
- Work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Assist in design revisions prototyping and documentation updates.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements and manufacturability.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure that all designs adhere to relevant standards tolerances and safety regulations.
- Maintain organized project files and version control of drawings.
- Support QA processes by providing accurate and complete design documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering CAD Design or Drafting
- 3 years of experience in mechanical design using Autodesk Inventor
- Strong understanding of mechanical components assemblies and fabrication techniques
- Experience working in an industrial manufacturing or process engineering environment
- Proficiency in generating BOMs GD&T and technical drawings
