Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) is looking for a Technical Sales & Business Development Manager Water Solutions

As our new Technical Sales & Business Development Manager youll be the driving force behind expanding our Water Solutions portfoliofueling sales growth unlocking new opportunities and delivering exceptional value to our global customers.
This is more than a sales role; its a chance to be a trusted advisor and technical expert transforming challenges into solutions and deals into lasting partnerships. With a clear focus on results and innovation youll champion our offerings lead with insight and bring complex solutions to life for our customers.
What you will work on:
Accelerate profitable sales growth across both existing and new customer bases within your product portfolio
Strategically prioritize target prospects and execute a highperforming technical sales approach to close deals
Collaborate with Key Account Managers to align your solutions with sales strategies and ensure seamless opportunity
Ensure strong sales pipeline progression from lead generation to final conversion
Leverage available sales tools and market insights to pinpoint growth areas and activate winning strategies
Build and strengthen customer relationships through regular valuedriven facetoface meetings
Establish and nurture multilevel connections within target customer organizations
Act as the goto technical expert within your product group using your knowledge to drive commercial success and customer confidence
Keep our CRM system fully updated with accurate information visit reports and opportunity tracking
What you need to succeed in the role:
A bachelors degree or equivalent marine qualification (experience can substitute for formal education)
Ideally experience in international technical sales and/or maritime engineering
A proven record of hitting sales targets and delivering results
Confidence in negotiating and closing with customers
Selfdriven and capable of independently managing priorities and workload
Commercially minded ambitious and motivated by success
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (written and spoken)
