Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced AIT Technician Vehicle Integration to join our growing team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor the AIT Technician will be responsible for manufacturing subassemblies of spacecraft. The ideal candidate should possess a keen visual understanding and knowledge of quality control and ASO9100 standards with close attention to detail and origination skills.
This role is on our 1st shift (MondayFriday) from 6:00AM 2:30PM
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow detailed procedures to assemble complex electronic and mechanical modules.
- Operate hand tools such as screwdrivers torque wrenches and light power tools.
- Ability to quickly change priority while working in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience with wire harness routing and/or space flight integration.
- Communicate statuses issues and suggestions effectively to the support engineering team.
- Updating documentation and hardware statuses through online services.
- Basic avionics and the electrical troubleshooting.
- Assist in spacecraft integration related activities.
- Must possess a strong work ethic be able to work with limited supervision and meet the requirements of the attendance policy.
- Must perform all functions of the job in a safe and professional manner.
- Must keep work area(s) in a neat clean safe and orderly condition.
- Ability to stand for most of the working day.
- Perform miscellaneous lab duties including kitting inventory and organization tasks.
- Perform other tasks/responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- 2 years of professional experience working handson as a technician within electromechanical assembly or spacecraft/spacecraft hardware manufacturing
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read understand and follow detailed work instructions for assembly and testing flight product including blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Proficiency with Windows 10 Microsoft Office products and internet browser applications
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Familiarity with cleanroom cleanliness standards and ESD precautions
- Meticulous attention to detail and documentation

Salary Range$20.00 $35.00 per hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined casebycase and may vary based on the jobrelated qualification knowledge skills education and experience. Physical Demands
An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time in addition to bending reaching and walking. This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. This position is generally sedentary with substantial computer usage.
Work Environment
The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers and scanners.
