Job Description
- Design build and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using AWS Glue.
- Implement and manage data governance access control and cataloguing with AWS Lake Formation.
- Develop and support data discovery cataloguing and sharing workflows using Amazon DataZone.
- Integrate and orchestrate workflows across Glue Lake Formation and DataZone to ensure seamless data movement and access.
- Ensure data quality security and compliance across all AWS data services.
Qualifications :
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven handson experience with AWS Glue for ETL/ELT data transformation and pipeline orchestration.
- Practical experience implementing data governance access control and permissions with AWS Lake Formation
- Develop infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or similar tools (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation).
- Experience configuring and using Amazon DataZone for data cataloguing sharing and integration with Glue and Lake Formation.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and query optimisation.
- Understanding of data modelling metadata management and best practices for data quality.
Desirable Skills
- Experience integrating Glue Lake Formation and DataZone for endtoend data platform solutions.
- Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud data environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
