You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailSupervise and manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems which may be mainframe mini or client/server based. Plan and monitor the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization and perform systems capacity analysis and planning. Plan and monitor assistance to users in accessing and using business systems. Commensurate experience and education.
Eight 8 YEARS field experience or in a related area; AA or BS degree in engineering computer science or business administration OR equivalent work experience
Support implementation troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Rapidly distinguish isolated user problems from enterprisewide application/system problems. Perform the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning. Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to collect data conduct analysis develop and implement solutions associated with incident tickets and requirements. Develop solutions to complex technical issues. Provide followup reports (technical findings feedback resolution steps taken) for Root Cause analysis engineering technical assessment and process improvement initiatives.
Ensures longterm requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization. Responsible for the installation maintenance configuration and integrity of computer software. Implement operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems. Apply operating system updates patches and configuration changes and create and/or automate scripts. Add remove or update user account information resetting passwords.
Experience with server patch management methodologies. Create update and/or maintain operations and maintenance documentation. Experience with interacting with customers to handle service inquiries and resolve problems. Support system administration of application that may include but is not limited to; Citrix VDI JIRA and Gemini. Works independently or as a member of a team. Possess practices and demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
