This is a remote position.
This is a non-technical (for now) support-focused role designed to assist tax preparers with client onboarding and document organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in U.S. tax administration and proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and review incoming client documents for tax and advisory engagements
Identify missing documentation for forms such asand 1065
Communicate with clients regarding outstanding files (primarily via email and Canopy)
Assist tax preparers in preparing client packages
Update and maintain records within Canopy and QuickBooks Online
Ensure accurate and timely administrative support throughout the onboarding stages
Prior experience supporting U.S.-based tax professionals or accounting firms
Familiarity with U.S. tax forms ()
Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable internet connection and power (back-up preferred)
Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines with minimal supervision
Strong English communication skills both written and verbal
Willingness to support the firm s sales and marketing activities if needed
Collaborative attitude with adaptability for cross-functional tasks
Good-to-Have Qualifications:
Working knowledge of tax document preparation workflows
Exposure to tax return assembly or packaging (without direct return preparation)
Background or interest in sales and marketing
Working knowledge of the Canopy document management system. Otherwise training will be provided via Loom videos
