Business Analyst Banking
Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in Wealth and Personal Banking to provide internal consultancy services investigate operational issues prioritize product backlogs and facilitate process improvements. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills innovative thinking and the ability to foster a high engagement team to deliver quality outputs.
Responsibilities
- Provide internal consultancy services on project/systems implementation workflow design and process reengineering in various Wealth and Personal Banking business areas.
- Investigate operational issues problems and new opportunities and provide initial highlevel options for solution design.
- Build endtoend business models of products and services with varying levels of complexity to assess and communicate the impact of different scenarios on the existing state of business.
- Support the business owner to prioritize product backlog by providing insight based on business knowledge investigations and analysis.
- Assist the project team in defining clear criteria for acceptable final solutions of work to ensure new business and services meet business and user needs and are aligned with organizational goals.
- Keep abreast of the latest technology/best practices in the banking industry and deliver changes to current processes with efficiency and cost improvement.
- Foster a high engagement team to deliver good quality outputs that exceed user expectations.
Experience Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in project management/business analysis capability.
Daytoday Activity
- Provide initial highlevel options for solution design.
- Assist the project team in defining clear criteria for acceptable final solutions of work.
- Keep abreast of the latest technology/best practices in the banking industry.
Qualification & Soft Skills
- University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications.
- Being proactive innovative with good communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Ability to adopt a growth mindset and proactively identify and bring about change opportunities.
- Has experience working with stakeholder group in Equity FO/Delta1 trading.
- Strong communication skills and prior knowledge of working on regulatory initiatives in Hong Kong.
