As a Senior Software Development Engineer its up to you to define design and refine the tech that keeps us one step ahead of listeners. Anticipate. Innovate. Joining our team provides the unique challenge and opportunity to deliver software that benefits many customers around the world. Marketing Technology (MarTech) teams mission is to develop systems and tools that enable marketers to provide customers multitouch personalized and timely messages that enhance the experience of using our services. Customer journey automation and realtime targeting are examples of systems that the team works on. These systems are built using cutting edge technologies and products from AWS like Kinesis S3 EMR Elastic Search etc.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer you will...
Independently lead complex technical initiatives within your team
Mentor and support other developers by cultivating curiosity and deep technical understanding

A day in the life



3 years experience of software development and deployment of distributed multitier applications
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Prior use of AWS technologies at scale in a production environment
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science

Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations
History of delivering customerdriven software products at a high scale in a fast paced technology first rapidgrowth company
Full stack proficiency (e.g. Java NoSQL HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript React)
Experience taking a lead role delivering complex software systems to internal or external customers
Competency at delegating work in parallel to accelerate delivery
Enthusiasm for promoting highquality standard in others across: documentation unit testing code reviews test automation continuous integration and deployment
