Job Description
We are currently seeking Software Development Engineers who are passionate about Software and Hardware integration and want to work on technologies which will be evolving user experience for future NAND SSD products.
As a Software Development Engineer you will have an opportunity to:
- Implement Software for technologies as NAND SSD and Storage Technology
- Develop Software to enable Storage related technologies
- Be involved in debug and integration of Software and Firmware
- Gain experience on storage technologies which will be released to the market in few years such as NAND SSDs Storage Caching NVMe RAIDs
- Work on early phases of design and implementation of next Solidigm products generations building modern storage solutions which will be released in few years
- Work with highly motivated individuals across all GEOs which are best professionals in their field
What you will do:
- Create architecture and highlevel design of next generation of Storage Technology running on PC platforms
- Develop and debug storage software in C C language
- Develop and debug tests in Bash Python
- Integrate storage firmware and software with other platform components like CPU OS etc.
- Implement automated tests to validate storage products
- Provide technical support for developed products contribute to technical product documentation
- Work in a team exercising agile process: use benefits of continuous integration with peer reviews participate in planning sessions and retrospectives for a few weeks long sprints.
Qualifications :
- Must have either a BS or MS in Computer Science Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 2 years of software development/debug experience
- Experience with programming in C C Python Bash
- Experience with Kubernetes environment
- Practical knowledge of concepts in the following areas: debugging coding techniques objectoriented programming drivers remote debugging
- Knowledge of software validation concepts: unit / functional/ integration / exploratory / performance / scalability tests
- Methodical problemsolving skills
- Fluency in English.
