Salary: Between M6 43607 and UPS3 49084 pro rata per annum depending on experience (actual salary between 34886 and 39267.

Plus TLR2 3391 pro rata per annum actual 2713 per annum.

Hours: Allday Tuesday to Friday

Pickwick Academy Trust would to recruit a permanent parttime 0.8 FTE) SENCo based at Aloeric Primary School.

Role Overview

We are looking to appoint an outstanding and dedicated SENCO who can support the schools community as it continues to grow.

In this role your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Strategic leadership and development of SEN across the school
  • Fulfil the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Being responsible for daytoday operation of SEN policy and coordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability
  • Monitoring the provision and progress of SEN EAL AGAT and looked after children
  • Provide professional guidance to colleagues working closely with staff parents and other agencies
  • Taking part in senior leadership meetings
  • Managing the Teaching Assistants to deliver intervention programmes and 1:1 support
  • Liaising with parent groups at the school
  • Contributing to the wider school life and the schools core values and ethos
