- Salary relative to experience and ranges from $59938 to $70468 super
The role
We are seeking a passionate individual to join our Open Spaces team as Turf Horticultural Labourer. Your role will involve a range of greenkeeping tasks from edging pathways and garden beds to maintaining sports fields and turfed areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the construction and upkeep of beautiful horticultural displays.
- Help conserve natural areas within our gardens.
- Use and maintain horticultural machinery like brush cutters push mowers rideon mowers and leaf blowers.
- Implement control and assist with the collection of propagation material.
- Ensure all activities follow health and safety policies to protect staff and visitors.

What you will bring to the role
- Experience in turf maintenance and general garden upkeep.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
- Ability to use and maintain horticultural equipment
- A handson attitude reliability and a willingness to pitch in and get the job done as part of a supportive team.
What is an essential requirement:
- Current drivers licence and willingness to undertake fieldwork for extended periods of time and have the ability to lift and carry a minimum 15 kilos.
- Ability to work outside of normal working hours and on weekends if required.
