Job Description
Capital One is seeking a customer serviceoriented Vulnerability Remediation Engineer to provide technical support to users in an efficient and accurate manner. You will be primarily responsible for resolving software vulnerability issues on employee endpoints using basic and advanced troubleshooting techniques. The goal is to make sure that security is maintained to the standards set forth by the company. You will be solving unique problems in an everchanging support environment using multiple support tools & methods.
Responsibilities:
Provide endpoint vulnerability remediation support using various tools and techniques to remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities
Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to calls received to the Capital One Service Desk
Interact with end users via soft phone or chat modules to resolve desktop vulnerabilities
Remotely access and support enduser machines to achieve first call resolution
Utilize Service Now as the ticketing tool to track and escalate incidents for end users
Participate in projects and program initiatives within the team
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma GED or equivalent certification
At least 1 year of remote help desk support experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or military experience
Mac Integration Basics Certificate or 1 year of equivalent Mac support experience
Windows 11 Certificate or 1 years of equivalent Windows OS support experience
2 years of enduser support experience
1 years experience with ServiceNow
ITIL Certification
1 years of experience with Vulnerability Assessment tools (Qualys Rapid7 Crowdstrike BeyondTrust)

The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean VA: $80100 $91400 for Associate Support OperationsCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
