The Data Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining data accuracy integrity and availability across company systems. This role involves supporting internal teams by managing databases troubleshooting data-related issues processing large datasets and assisting in reporting and analysis tasks.
Enter update and verify data in internal systems and databases.
Identify and resolve data discrepancies or errors.
Support teams with data requests queries and basic reporting needs.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure data consistency and quality.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all data.
Create and maintain documentation for data entry processes and support workflows.
Assist with data imports exports and system integrations as needed.
Monitor data flows and system alerts to ensure proper operation.
Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
Familiarity with data governance or data quality best practices.
Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g. Python Excel macros) is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate s or Bachelor s degree in a related field preferred.
1 2 years of experience in a data entry support or administrative role.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with database systems (e.g. SQL CRM platforms).
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic data-related issues.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
