Were looking for a Payroll Delivery & Process Lead to be the glue that holds our regional payroll puzzle together someone who thrives at the intersection of operations strategy and problemsolving. This role isnt just about making sure people get paid (though yes that too) its about helping our payroll function evolve scale and shine.
What Youll Be Doing
40 Operational 60 Strategic & Coordinative 100 Impactful
- Handson support for a few of our operational payrolls because rolling up our sleeves is part of the game
- Manage payroll data entries ensure timely and accurate payroll processing provide knowledge on a range of payroll matters ensuring that the service is maintained and that the service levels are met
- Coordinate and support payroll processes across Europe and APAC partnering with local teams to solve and unblock issues and keep things flowing
- Participate in Payroll Teams projects: implementations system automations
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with HR Finance and Tech to ensure alignment and smooth of global payroll initiatives
- Provide support to the Europe and APAC regions during highimpact cycles such as salary reviews or bonus payouts
- Drive standardization and process improvement across regions helping ups move from it works to it works brilliantly
- Contribute to payroll approvals validations and controls ensuring compliance and accuracy with a sharp eye
- Perform duties that require an understanding of company policies systems and procedures with a strong level of customer service
- Process and peer audit employee payroll data payments and hours
- Support audits and reporting by maintaining accurate records and documentation
What Were Looking For
- Solid experience in payroll operations of 6 years ideally across multiple countries or regions
- Passion for efficiency structure and clarity youre the kind of person who builds a checklist for fun
- A good grasp pf payroll systems tools and automation opportunities including handling implementations or integrations
- Comfort working across different time zones and cultures flexibility and empathy go a long way (within your normal working hours)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills youll be juggling many threads at once
- A mindset thats equal parts pragmatic and strategic youre not afraid to get into the weeds but always have the bigger picture in mind
